Nielsen
Dylon was raised on Maui and, a year after marrying his high school sweetheart in 2013, began working with his brother-in-law, a second-generation wood flooring expert. He quickly fell in love with the creativity and satisfaction of the job and worked at Bones Wood Floors in Maui for four years before moving to Austin, Texas to continue his career. In Austin, Dylon attended classes at American Sanders, Lagler, and Rubio Monocoat to further his knowledge and technique. He also has attended multiple NWFA conventions to stay up to date with the latest in hardwood flooring.
Dylon is the proud owner of ATX Wood Flooring. He's eager to provide excellent, high-quality work to homeowners in Austin. In his personal life, Dylon cherishes his family, including his wife Laisha and their two children, Oliver and Aiyla. He enjoys spending time with them by golfing, swimming in Barton Springs, or surfing in Waco on weekends. Dylon also likes to spend time with friends and family in Austin and lead a fulfilling life while making a living for his loved ones. His knowledge and expertise make him an excellent choice for hardwood flooring projects, and he looks forward to making your Austin hardwood flooring beautiful.

Laisha Nielsen, former Bones, grew up in the Aspen Valley watching her father Larry Bones and brothers Shawn and Levi Bones work on luxury hardwood floors in the finest homes in Aspen. She learned the ropes of the hardwood flooring industry from a young age, accompanying her father to bid jobs and working hands-on with her brothers.
When her family moved to Maui in 2005, Laisha met her future husband Dylon, and they became best friends. After getting married in 2013, they worked with Laisha's brother Shawn on hardwood flooring projects in Maui, where they became even more enamored with the beauty and versatility of different exotic woods in a humid climate.
After moving to Austin in 2018, Laisha quickly became a mother to their son Oliver and daughter Aiyla. She learned the ins and outs of social media, Google Ads, SEO, and how to promote hardwood flooring with her time at home.
Now, as co-owners of ATX Wood Flooring, Laisha and Dylon take pride in building relationships with their clients and providing exceptional wood floors for their homes. Although being a mother comes first for Laisha, she loves supporting Dylon in this business venture and meeting clients to showcase the beautiful work they do.
